The holiday season has officially begun in Wayne County with the opening of its annual lightfest.
The five-mile trail starts at Merriman Hollow Park in Westland and ends at Warrendale Park in Dearborn Heights and entry is $5 per car.
It’s open Monday through Friday 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 6 to 10 p.m.
The lights will be on display until the end of December.
