Multiple people shot at home in River Rouge; 2 killed, another injured

RIVER ROUGE, Mich. – Multiple people were shot Thursday night at a home in River Rouge.

Investigators have been at a house on Beechwood Street near Visger Road since about 10:30 p.m. Family members said two people were killed and one person is hospitalized.

A man who identified himself as the ex-fiance of one of the victims said she was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

“She loved everybody,” he said. “She was just a beautiful young lady at the wrong place, at the wrong time.”

It’s unclear just how many people were involved in the shooting. The condition of the person who is in the hospital is not known at this time.

No arrests have been announced.
