16-year-old injured in shooting on Detroit’s east side
Teen was walking when he was shot, police say
DETROIT – Police said a 16-year-old was shot Saturday on Detroit’s east side.
Investigators said the teen was walking down Carlisle Street near Gratiot Avenue and Hayes Street. A vehicle approached the teen before he was shot in the leg.
The teen was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
It unknown if anyone was arrested in the incident.
