DETROIT – A fire damaged a small apartment building on Detroit’s east side Saturday night.
The fire broke out on Pelkey Street, near Gratiot Avenue and Schoenherr Street.
According to authorities, all residents -- children, adults and a dog -- made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
