Man killed in overnight stabbing on Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – A man was killed overnight in a stabbing on Detroit’s west side, according to police.

Officials were called at 4:28 a.m. Friday (April 23) to the 17100 block of Second Street in Detroit. That’s in the area of McNichols Road and Woodward Avenue.

Police said they found a man in his 40s had been stabbed to death. His identity has not been released.

Authorities are still trying to determine who stabbed the man and what led to the attack.

It’s unclear who found the man’s body and called police.

Detroit officials continue to investigate.
