DETROIT – Local 4 News is following breaking news from Detroit on Michigan Avenue and Tillman Street where firefighters are working to put out a fire.

Before crews arrived to the scene, firefighters were working on putting out a fire further down on Michigan Avenue, according to Detroit Fire Department Deputy Fire Commissioner, Dave Fornell.
He said firefighters put that fire out and were on their way back to the station when they saw the building on Michigan Avenue and Tillman Street in flames.
Fornell added that the DFD believes the two fires could be linked and is investigating both as suspicious. The cause of both fires is still unknown.
