41-year-old man shot, killed overnight in Lincoln Park, police say Officials believe victim was from Detroit

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – A 41-year-old man was shot and killed overnight in Lincoln Park , police said.
The shooting happened Sunday night into Monday morning on University Avenue between Howard Avenue and Lafayette Boulevard, according to officials.
Authorities said they believe the 41-year-old man was a Detroit resident.
Michigan State Police troopers are helping with the case.
It’s still very early in the investigation, police said. No further information was revealed.
