SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pickup truck and a car at a red light in Shelby Township.
Officials said the crash happened at 5:48 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 16) at 23 Mile and Schoenherr roads.

A 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading east on 23 Mile Road when hit crashed into the back of a 2012 Ford Fusion that was waiting at the Schoenherr Road intersection due to a red light, according to authorities.
After the collision, the F-150 veered off the roadway and hit a tree, police said.
Officials confirmed this was a fatal crash, but no information about the victim has been revealed.
