2 men taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two drivers and a passenger were injured early Thursday morning in a crash at a Huron Township intersection, police said.

The crash happened at 4:48 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 16) in the area of Sibley and Inkster roads.

Officials said two vehicles were involved: An SUV and a car.

One driver, a 31-year-old Lincoln Park man, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. He is stable, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

His passenger, a 23-year-old Lincoln Park man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released after 9 a.m.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 22-year-old Wayne man, told police his injuries were minor. He was not taken to the hospital, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing.
