Genesee County Woman Wins $6 Million Playing the Michigan Lottery’s $300,000,000 Diamond Riches Instant Game (Michigan Lottery)

A Michigan Lottery player hit a big $6 million jackpot prize playing an instant game she bought in Livingston County.

The Genesee County woman, 69, bought her winning ticket at the Pure Market located at 8475 Main Street in Whitmore Lake. She chose to remain anonymous.

She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $4.1 million, rather than 30 annuity payments for the full amount.

The Michigan Lottery says players have won more than $278 million playing $300,000,000 Diamond Riches, which launched in July 2022. Each $50 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $50 up to $6 million.

More than $54 million in prizes remain, including one $6 million top prize, 15 $50,000 prizes, and 142 $2,500 prizes.
