Dorian Mitchell and Christie Davis were found dead at 4:38 p.m. Jan. 27, 2022, outside an apartment complex in the 16400 block of 10 Mile Road in Eastpointe.

Police said they found Mitchell lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Davis was found on the ground next to her car. She was taken to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds, but prosecutors said she died from her injuries.

Dennis Evans, 62, of Eastpointe, was identified as the shooter and arrested in San Antonio, Texas. His friend was taken into custody in Kansas and charged as an accessory.
