Police seek help identifying suspect in drive-by shooting of 20-year-old man on Detroit’s east side Victim was shot multiple times
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking assistance from the community regarding the homicide of Trevion Ward, 20, on the city’s east side.
The incident occurred on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 1:19 p.m. in the 19900 block of Omira Street when a suspect driving a blue sedan southbound fired multiple shots at Ward.
Ward was shot multiple times as EMS made it to the location and attempted to render aid, but the 20-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
