Man sentenced for shooting restaurant employee over guacamole disagreement in Southfield Charges were filed on April 6, 2024
Aaron Michael Brown, 33, from Detroit, was sentenced in Oakland County Circuit Court for assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, strangulation, and felony firearm charges.
Brown was sentenced to one to 10 years for the assault charge and an additional two years for felony firearms.
The incident occurred on April 5, 2024 at 6:52 p.m.
Following the shooting, Brown had fled the scene but was quickly arrested by Southfield police that evening.
Charges were filed on April 6, 2024.
