Oakland County man accused of trying to set up child porn server Thousands of abusive media files recovered by police
Benjamin Weeks (WDIV)
PONTIAC, Mich. – A 45-year-old man from Clarkston is facing multiple felonies after reportedly trying to create a server for child pornography.
According to authorities, law enforcement seized about 35 hard drives, multiple thumb drives, CDs, DVDs and computer devices from Benjamin Weeks' home. They reportedly contained tens of thousands of child sexual abuse material files -- including some involving bestiality.
Police believe Weeks was attempting to create a child pornography server.
“The scale of depravity uncovered in this case is shocking,” said Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald.
Weeks has been charged with three counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and three counts of use of a computer to commit a crime. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
