CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Wayne County crews are working on emergency repairs after flooding closed Canton Center Road at Willow Creek.
The road was shut down in both directions on Friday (April 4) due to a significant washout caused by recent heavy rains.
Video footage captured by Local 4 showed the extent of the damage, highlighting the challenges faced by drivers in the area.
Police are urging motorists to prepare for delays this weekend as repairs are underway.
Canton Public Safety said that the road is expected to reopen next week, but residents should remain cautious.
