After some showers and thunderstorms, and a little bit of sunshine working throughout the day on Saturday for the Fourth of July, the fireworks from Mother Nature will continue looking ahead into the end of the holiday weekend.

We’re watching an area of low pressure and a frontal boundary moving across the region on Sunday morning. We will keep the chance of some scattered showers and thunderstorms under the forecast to end the weekend on Sunday, but the day will not be a complete washout, but expect more clouds than sunshine. High temperatures remaining in the mid upper 80s by the end of the weekend.

With this frontal boundary, slow to move away from the region, we will keep the chance of a few thunderstorms under the forecast looking ahead to the start of next week on Monday. High temperature temperatures remaining into the mid 80s by Monday afternoon.

High-pressure will build back into the region, looking into the middle of next week for Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds both days. High temperatures warming into the mid to upper 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast looking ahead into the end of next week. I don’t think either of these days will be a washout. High temperatures warming into the upper 80s near 90° by Thursday, then dropping back into the mid 80s by Friday afternoon.

Drier weather returns to the forecast looking ahead into the start of next weekend. Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds for next Saturday. High temperatures near where we should be for the middle part of July. High temperatures will head into the middle 80s by Saturday afternoon.
