CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Multiple suspects are sought by police after a foiled attempted carjacking in Canton Township.
The incident occurred on Friday (Sept. 5) at Michigan Avenue and South Lotz Road, where police said several shots were fired around 3:20 a.m.
Police said the shots were fired on Palmer and Haggerty roads as carjackers were attempting a carjacking.
Officials said the incident was believed to be random, and the suspects were just casing the gas station.
