EB I-94 at US-23 closed due to crash Injuries in crash not known

WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. – Eastbound I-94 is closed at US-23 early Wednesday morning due to a crash.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported the freeway closure at around 5 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2025.
It’s not known if anyone was injured in the crash, and police are working to clear the scene.
A detour drivers can take is State Street to Ellsworth, then to Michigan Avenue, to South Hamilton and then to South Huron to get back on I-94.
