NEW BOSTON, Mich. – A Michigan Lottery player won a $1.67 million Lotto 47 jackpot over the weekend, and the winning ticket was sold in Wayne County.
Michigan Lottery officials said a ticket matched the numbers drawn on Saturday (05-16-17-34-36-44) to win the big jackpot.

That winning ticket was sold at New Boston Fuel Stop Inc, at 37330 Huron River Road in New Boston, which is about 30 miles southeast of Ann Arbor.
This is the fourth time the Lotto 47 jackpot has been won in 2026.
The last win was in March, when a player won $1.1 million after purchasing a ticket at Besons Supermarket at 1480 S. Huron Road in Kawkawlin.
The winner of Saturday’s jackpot should contact the Michigan Lottery at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize. Tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.

Lotto 47 tickets cost $1 per play, with players choosing six numbers between one and 47 for a shot at a jackpot that starts at $1 million and climbs until someone wins.
Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m.
For an extra $1, players can add Double Play for a second chance to win up to $1.5 million, or EZMatch for a chance to win up to $500 instantly.
