PONTIAC, Mich. – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a 16-year-old girl who went missing in Pontiac.

La’Niiya Lanita Collins left her home on Lancaster Lane on Sunday (May 3) and has not been seen by her mother since.

Collins does not have a cell phone but has communicated brifely with certain family members through social media but refused to say where she is.

She is a 10th-grade student at the Arts and Technology Academy of Pontiac, but has not been present in her classes this week.

Collins was last seen wearing a black or blue hooded sweatshirt.

She was last seen wearing a black or blue hooded sweatshirt.

It is not known what she is currently wearing.
