Orion Township Supervisor Chris Barnett said the advisory will likely last into the weekend, but people can now use water as they please.

Residents may see some discoloration or sediment in their water during the Boil Water Advisory. Barnett said that is normal as the advisory is ongoing.

Water testing will continue in the next few days.

Water distribution centers are still available to residents. Here is where residents can get water:

  • Orion Township: Wildwood Amphitheater, 2700 Joslyn Court
  • Auburn Hills: Auburn Hills Department of Public Works, 1500 Brown Road
  • Lake Orion: Atwater Park, 426 Atwater Street
