An 18-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were both shot Thursday night during an incident in Ypsilanti Township.
Deputies arrived at the scene in the 1600 block of Holmes Road around 8:49 p.m. to find the 18-year-old in critical condition. The teen was transported to a local hospital by first responders. The second victim transported himself to a hospital outside of Washtenaw County, where he remains in serious but stable condition, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators are still searching for the suspect involved in the incident, which does not appear to be random, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.
Police are urging the public to reach out to the Sheriff’s Office with any potential leads, witnesses or other information related to the shooting at 734-994-2911 or 734-973-7711.
