A Washington sheriff's deputy narrowly avoided death Friday when he leapt out of the way of a fast-moving vehicle. The incident was captured on video.
The deputy is seen putting out spike strips to stop a vehicle that was being pursued by law enforcement. The vehicle, a white pickup truck, speeds around the spike strips, coming dangerously close to the deputy. The deputy is forced to jump into the trunk of his own cruiser to avoid being hit.

According to KHQ, 30-year-old Jorel Fultz was arrested and faces multiple charges.
Fultz led officers on a chase through Spokane Valley, Washington after police tried to stop him for a firearms violation. The chase lasted 20 minutes and reached speeds of 90 mph.
Officers were able to stop Fultz's vehicle near Stateline, Idaho using a pit maneuver. He attempted to flee on foot, but was captured with help from a K-9 unit.
Fultz was accused last year of beating and robbing Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris.
The deputy was not injured in the incident.
