A stolen car chase that went from Southfield into Detroit reached speeds of more than 120 miles per hour. The scene was chaotic and very fortunate that no one was seriously hurt as there were several close calls.

15-year-old Janiya Brown had been missing from Berkley for two-and-a-half weeks.

DETROIT A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday after a shooting on on Detroits west side. It happened at about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sussex Street and Clarita Avenue, just south of Seven Mile Road. Neighbors gathered outside Sunday afternoon to embrace each other and try to understand why a man would be shot as he sat in his car. Police said he was sitting in the passenger seat of a Hyundai when a white Jeep pulled up. The shooting happened in broad daylight in a neighborhood with a lot of children.
