21-year-old man shot in broad daylight on Detroits west side
DETROIT A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday after a shooting on on Detroits west side. It happened at about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sussex Street and Clarita Avenue, just south of Seven Mile Road. Neighbors gathered outside Sunday afternoon to embrace each other and try to understand why a man would be shot as he sat in his car. Police said he was sitting in the passenger seat of a Hyundai when a white Jeep pulled up. The shooting happened in broad daylight in a neighborhood with a lot of children.
