Fire crews were on the scene early Sunday, working to put out flames at a Pontiac restaurant.

As of 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 5 crews were still working on putting out a fire in Downtown Lapeer.

Crews from the DNR are currently battling a 425-acre fire -- a total perimeter of about 5.2 miles -- in Northern Michigan.

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. Michigan State Police assisted Lincoln Park Police officers on I-75 Friday night with a two-vehicle crash. According to authorities, a semi truck hit a fire truck on northbound I-75, near Dixie Highway. Police said the crash injured two fire fighters -- one is in critical condition and one has serious injuries.
