Death of Grand Valley State student ruled accidental
ALLENDALE, Mich. – The death of an 18-year-old Grand Valley State University student whose body was found last month on campus has been ruled accidental, caused by hypothermia. DeRosa, a first-year student from Royal Oak, was found dead by a runner Dec. 12 near sports fields on the Allendale campus. Grand Valley spokeswoman Mary Eilleen Lyon said an investigation showed DeRosa had attended several social gatherings. Grand Valley State is in western Michigan, near Grand Rapids. Officials identify body found on Grand Valley State University campus as first-year student from Royal Oak
ALLENDALE, Mich. – Dozens are mourning the sudden loss of Grand Valley State University first-year student Taylor DeRosa. DeRosa’s body was found on Dec. 12 by a jogger near the athletic field on the university’s Allendale campus. Police are investigating her death as suspicious.
