It was the kinky karaoke and condom cupcakes portion of Grand Valley State University’s Sex Ex Week that initially raised eyebrows. Then people started looking at the entire week of sex education events.

Four people were hurt in a shooting that happened early Sunday morning in Allendale Charter Township, two of the four victims are students at Grand Valley State University.

Thursday was the graduation for the Detroit Achievement Academy’s eighth graders and every student received a life-changing graduation gift.

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The death of an 18-year-old Grand Valley State University student whose body was found last month on campus has been ruled accidental, caused by hypothermia. DeRosa, a first-year student from Royal Oak, was found dead by a runner Dec. 12 near sports fields on the Allendale campus. ALLENDALE, Mich. – Dozens are mourning the sudden loss of Grand Valley State University first-year student Taylor DeRosa. DeRosa’s body was found on Dec. 12 by a jogger near the athletic field on the university’s Allendale campus. Police are investigating her death as suspicious.
