DES MOINES, IA Democratic presidential candidate Deval Patrick says he will not discourage potential support from political committees raising huge sums from undisclosed donors for his campaign. Gretchen Whitmer introduced a plan Thursday to combat the opioid epidemic in Michigan. “I’m formally setting a goal to reduce the number of opioid deaths by 50 percent in the next five years,” Whitmer said. A group of 16 students at an Indiana school were accidentally injected with insulin at school while they were supposed to be undergoing a tuberculosis skin test, according to the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. The high students from McKenzie Center for Innovation & Technology in Indianapolis were all injected with a small dosage by Community Health Network employees, the district said. Once the mistake was realized, the kids were all transported to the hospital and their parents were called, according to reports. Ive been training for the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon and yesterday I ran 6.5 miles! Im hoping to at least get to 10 miles for my training before the race in October. With Brandons future forecast it looks like theres going to be plenty of hot days for me to continue my training. DETROIT - The family of a 21-year old Detroit man fatally shot on the Fourth of July is speaking with Local 4. Family members said Dion Bridges was just sitting outside at a table when someone started firing gunshots. Especially since her 21-year old grandson was shot and killed. Police said someone shot Dion Bridges while he was sitting outside with his friends. They ripped my son from his family, his mother said.

I sat at the desk with them and tossed (TV term) to them and off they went with their sports casts.
