A quiet and warm Wednesday evening across Metro Detroit will give way to a more active weather pattern Thursday as a cold front brings the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, including the possibility of a few strong to severe storms.

Snow is returning to Metro Detroit on Wednesday, moving in overnight and affecting the morning commute.
