After sunshine and a little cloud cover along with warm temperatures and a little bit of humidity throughout the day on Thursday, we will keep the dry weather into most of the day on Friday looking ahead to the end of the week, before our next chance of rain showers moves into the forecast.
Expect partly cloudy skies overnight tonight, it will be warmer and more humid overnight. Overnight lows dropping into the 60s for most of us, and a few 50s or possible outside the metro.
Grab the sunglasses heading out the door early Friday morning, we will start the day with a mixture of sunshine and clouds, before more cloud cover moves in late afternoon and into the evening. Expect rain showers to start to develop as we look ahead into the late evening and overnight hours. High temperature is warming into the upper 80s to lower 90s by Friday afternoon.
Looking ahead into the weekend, we will keep the chance of rain showers in both Saturday and Sunday. There’s a better chance for more widespread coverage of rain on Saturday compared to the end of the weekend on Sunday. Some places could see over an inch or more of rainfall, especially where multiple rounds of rain move through throughout the weekend. But as of right now, we don’t have any flooding concerns, looking ahead into the weekend.
Once that system moves through the region, we will dry things out, looking ahead into the start of next week on Monday and Tuesday. Expect mostly sunny skies both days, with temperatures remaining into the 80s to start next week.
