‘Hot Wheels’ report shows 10 vehicles most commonly stolen
American full-size pick-up trucks and Japanese cars were the most popular vehicles for thieves in 2020, according to a report from the Nation Insurance Crime Bureau. The Ford and Chevrolet models of full-size pick-up trucks were the most targeted by thieves last year, according to NICB’s annual Hot Wheels report identifying the top 10 most stolen vehicles in the United States in 2020. Dodge’s and GMC’s full-size pick-ups were also in the top 10. Glawe said auto owners should take steps to protect their investment, especially locking their doors and removing their keys.
