Vicksburg takes Swine Bone Trophy with win over Three Rivers
VICKSBURG – For the Vicksburg football team, winning the annual Swine Bone Trophy in the rivalry game with Three Rivers is high on the list of goals for the football season. “This was a really big win for us. It was a big win for us.”Winning the swine bone for a third consecutive year required weathering a number of counter strikes from a Three Rivers team that displayed plenty of offense. It was a typical Vicksburg/Three Rivers game.”Junior running backs Bo Skidmore and Xavier Wadley led a productive Vicksburg running game. With the win, Vicksburg improved to 5-1 for the season and 4-1 in the conference.
