If we get a few hours of sun through the afternoon, highs could be flirting with 70 degrees around Metro Detroit Tuesday. This is another day where temps could take aim at 70 degrees, but the afternoon rain will keep us from hitting that mark. Thursday looks wet with rain and thundershowers as highs stay in the upper 50s to low 60s. But again, it should be mild to warm this weekend in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Highs clouds stream into the area later this afternoon but it will be mostly sunny most of the day. Light snow and possibly some freezing drizzle last only until noon or earlier as the skies give way to partly cloudy conditions for most of the afternoon. Sunday will be dry and cool with highs in the low to mid 30s before we warm a bit again next week. Still, on the northern fringes of this storm we could get a couple of inches of snow starting later on Tuesday into Wednesday.
