ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. โ A St. Clair County woman is facing charges after 83 dogs were seized from a home last month. If convicted, she could face up to seven years in prison and a $10,000 fine. On Nov. 5, the dogs, who had medical issues, were seized from a suspected dog breeder in St. Clair Township. Police said the dogs were found in cramped wire cages that were stacked on top of each other.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. Authorities with the St. Clair County Animal Control are now looking for homes to take in one of the many dogs rescued from a suspected dog-breeder. ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. More than 80 dogs with medical issues were seized Tuesday from a suspected dog-breeder in St. Clair Township. Authorities said a tip alerted them to the 83 dogs found in wire cages stacked on top of each other. In addition to the dogs, St. Clair County Animal Control also seized four cats and two birds from the property. The St. Clair County Animal Control are working with the Humane Society to spay, and neuter the dogs and treat their injuries. These dogs have lived in wire bottom cages their entire life, said St. Clair County Animal Control director Erika Stroman.
