Dr. Dre in ICU after suffering brain aneurysm, TMZ reports
LOS ANGELES – Hip hop mogul Dr. Dre is hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering a brain aneurysm, according to a TMZ report. The report stated the 55-year-old suffered the aneurysm on Monday and was taken to the hospital in Los Angeles, where he remains as of Tuesday night. He is “stable and lucid,” the report said, although doctors are not sure what caused the bleeding and are conducting tests. Dr. Dre (born Andre Romelle Young) is in the middle of a separation from his wife, Nicole Young, who filed for divorce last year after more than 20 years of marriage. Dr. Dre has four children from previous relationships.
OJ Simpson sues Las Vegas casino, contends he was defamed
Simpson is suing a Las Vegas hotel-casino that banned him in November 2017, alleging that unnamed employees defamed him by telling a celebrity news site he had been drunk, disruptive and unruly. It prohibited him from returning to the Las Vegas Strip property. The defamation complaint said a parole officer arrived unannounced at Simpson's Las Vegas home following news reports of the Cosmopolitan incident and administered drug and alcohol tests. Simpson was acquitted in Los Angeles in the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. The lawsuit was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
