Metro Detroit weather: Wet weekend brings rain, snow
And we don’t mean just cold temperatures. Weekend SnowWe’ll spend the first half of the weekend dry with mostly cloudy skies. Even though we expect some of this to be rain, it looks like a lot more could be wet snow. Whatever combination of rain and snow this delivers, the precipitation should transition back to a mix and then rain by late afternoon, before ending during the evening. We’ll stay dry throughout Thursday with more clouds than sun.
Metro Detroit weather: Warmth sticks around
But we get another day of unseasonable warmth without the winds on Friday, before a half-wet weekend. Warmth PersistsWith average highs in the upper 40s, getting highs in the mid 60s seems like a gift. Typical NovemberThe cold air behind that front will have temperatures struggling to hit 50 on Saturday, and reaching only the mid 40s on Sunday. Dry conditions persist until daybreak on Sunday. That includes Thanksgiving Thursday when highs will reach the mid 40s under mostly cloudy skies.
