Another major stretch of Rochester Road is headed for construction, this time in Rochester Hills, as state transportation officials plan a two-year reconstruction project on nearly five miles of the busy corridor.

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has established a formal detour route for traffic traveling on Orion Road at Dutton Road on the Rochester Hills/Oakland County border, which remains closed due to damage caused by July 16’s flooding.
