Kamala Harris suspends travel after staffer tests COVID-19 positive
Joe Bidenโs presidential campaign said Thursday that vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris will suspend in-person events until Monday after two people associated with the campaign tested positive for coronavirus. The campaign said Biden had no exposure, though he and Harris spent several hours campaigning together in Arizona on Oct. 8. Harris was scheduled to travel Thursday to North Carolina for events encouraging voters to cast early ballots. 21-year-old killed at Ypsilanti park, search for killer continues
YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. โ A 21-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times at Nancy Park in the area of Harris and Grove Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police say. Medics tried saving the man when they arrived, but it was too late. As of now no arrests have been made.
Father of 3 killed in shooting on Detroits west side
DETROIT The 29-year-old father of three young children was killed early Saturday morning on Detroits west side, near the intersection of Plymouth and Greenfield roads. Family and friends gathered at the spot where Bryan White was killed to pray and embrace each other. He was an amazing father, Harris said. His friends described him as an outgoing and kind man killed in a senseless shooting. Even if you didnt know him, if you heard his laugh you would laugh, Harris said.
