SOUTHGATE, Mich. – An intersection in Southgate has been shut down after wind blew down the traffic signals, officials said.
Southgate officials reported around 2:30 p.m. that the intersection of Eureka and Dix Toledo roads is closed.
The traffic signals have fallen because of the strong winds, according to authorities.
Drivers are asked to use a different route and avoid that intersection while crews work to repair the signals.
It’s unclear how long the closure will last.
