A Detroit carjacking. A baby left behind. Police find the 7-month-old safe inside the stolen car

A baby was found safe after a carjacking and kidnapping incident on Detroit’s east side near Chalmers and Glenwood streets at about noon on July 8. Police later located the stolen vehicle with the unharmed child inside at Edmore and Redmond.
