4Warn Weather – A freeze warning has been issued for the entire Lower Peninsula, with the 4Warn Weather team cautioning that temperatures could dip into the mid-20s to low 30s overnight.

In Metro Detroit, the freeze warning is in effect from midnight through 8 a.m. Saturday.

Skies will gradually clear overnight, allowing temperatures to fall sharply.

Sunshine is expected early Saturday before clouds increase in the afternoon.

A stray shower is possible later in the day, with highs reaching only around 50 degrees, well below the normal high of 65.

Temperatures will rebound slightly by Sunday, starting in the mid-30s in the morning and climbing to near 60 in the afternoon.

Skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy, with scattered showers possible later in the day.

Next week

A warming trend continues into Monday, with highs approaching 70 degrees, though another chance of rain remains in the forecast.

Showers are more likely on Tuesday, when temperatures are expected to settle back into the low to mid-60s.

Unsettled weather is expected to persist through midweek, with additional chances for rain on Wednesday and Thursday.
