A few more clouds mix in today, keeping temperatures a few degrees cooler. Look for partly sunny skies with highs in the mid-60s across Southeast Michigan. It will remain dry and feeling like fall under the lights across town for Friday night football.
The dry, seasonable pattern continues through the weekend and into early next week. Sunshine returns this weekend with temperatures warming into the low 70s, making for a pleasant stretch of fall weather to hit a local cider mill, corn maze or apple orchard. Gorgeous tailgating weather both Saturday and Sunday for Michigan, Michigan State and Detroit Lions fans.
The next chance for rain arrives Wednesday as a low-pressure system and associated cold front are projected to move into the Great Lakes. Forecast details will become clearer as the system gets closer.
Meanwhile, the weather is much more active elsewhere. A nor’easter is expected to bring strong coastal winds and flooding concerns to portions of the Atlantic seaboard this weekend. At the same time, three hurricanes are churning in the Pacific Ocean, highlighting the active weather pattern across other parts of the country.
