Former Michigan State University football star Malik McDowell to be sentenced today He pleaded guilty last month
PONTIAC, Mich. – Malik McDowell will be sentenced today for assaulting an officer in February.
UPDATE: McDowell sentenced to 1 year in jail
Video shows the former Michigan State University football player wrestling with an officer inside a Lathrup Village gas station after being pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence.
