DETROIT – A reward is being offered for information after a father was found shot to death last month on Detroit’s east side.
Silky Grice Jr.'s body was found in his 2012 tan Kia Sorrento about 1:40 a.m. Oct. 18 in the area of E. Remington Avenue and Conant Street.

Grice’s family said he told his girlfriend he was headed home about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Where he was between then and the time his body was found is unknown.
The 27-year-old Grice leaves behind an 11-month-old child. Grice was studying chemical engineering at the University of Michigan and working to become a manager at Amazon when he was killed.
