Michigan State Police said troopers were dispatched about 3:50 a.m. to a shooting on the freeway. A man said he had been shot at while driving on westbound I-94 near Ecorse Road. The driver was not hurt and continued driving to work. He called 911.
Police believe the other vehicle involved was a white Pontiac. They believe this started as a traffic altercation between two drivers. The man who called police is a concealed pistol license (CPL) holder. He was missing ammunition from his weapon, police said.
No arrests have been announced.
