PONTIAC, Mich. – A Pontiac man shot his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend while the two were sitting inside a car, and then called his ex-girlfriend’s cellphone while she was being interviewed by police, according to deputies. A 21-year-old Pontiac woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, a 23-year-old Pontiac resident, had shot her current boyfriend, a 21-year-old Pontiac resident. While deputies were interviewing the 21-year-old woman, her ex-boyfriend called her cellphone and admitted to the shooting while on speakerphone, according to police. Officers spoke with the ex-boyfriend on a family member’s cellphone and persuaded him to come outside without the pistol, according to police. The 21-year-old shooting victim is stable at McLaren Oakland Hospital.

Man dies after girlfriend calls police to say she stabbed him at Southfield apartment
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A 27-year-old Southfield man died overnight after his girlfriend called police to report she had stabbed him during a dispute at an apartment complex, officials said. The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday (March 15) at the Lancaster Hills apartment complex on Lancaster Drive near Telegraph and 12 Mile roads, according to authorities. Police said they received a call from a 22-year-old Southfield woman who said she was involved in a domestic altercation and had stabbed her boyfriend. Authorities arrived, rendered aid and took the man to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival, officials said. The case is being investigated as a domestic homicide, per Southfield officials.

Hodge said that’s when a part of the car wash machine allegedly slammed into her car. “We don’t often get calls to rescue people from car wash,” Watson said. ‘This is a heinous crime’ -- 8-year-old Southfield girl fatally shot, brother facing charges
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – An 8-year-old girl who was shot Sunday evening at an apartment in Southfield died from her injuries Wednesday night. Gyasi Arnez Stribling, the victim’s 20-year-old brother, is now facing charges. He’s accused of shooting Bailei Singleton at the 12 North Apartments on 12 Mile Road, between Northwestern Highway and Telegraph Road. The girl had been in critical condition at a hospital after being shot in her head. Police said he allegedly fabricated a story and said Bailei had been shot during an attempted robbery.
