Detroit police seeking driver, vehicle in fatal hit-and-run on city’s east side

Police say incident occurred in area of Morang Avenue and Rossiter Street

DETROIT – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Detroit’s east side.

According to the Detroit Police Department, the incident occurred at about 9:20 p.m., Friday, in the area of Morang Avenue and Rossiter Street.

Police said a 33-year-old man was walking across the street when he was struck by a silver Ford Flex. The driver fled the area, traveling westbound on Morang.
