Friday marks day four of Operation Justice for Zion, an extensive search effort at Pine Tree Landfill in Lenox Township to find the missing 17-year-old. โWeโre gonna do everything we possibly can to bring some degree of closure,โ White said. The marked SUV came off the exit and collided with Woodards at the intersection who was driving southbound on Chicago. So the obstruction, the officers could not, or the driving officer could not see,โ said Craig. Chief Craig says the driving officer was justified in using the overhead lights and sirens, but the officer did not proceed with caution.

An officer posted a photo of the suspected noose on social media. A supervisor has since removed the dangling object.Some officers believe one of the employees working on renovations tied the noose to a rafter after he was caught on surveillance keying a Black officers car, WXYZ reports Police declined to discuss the issue until the investigation is complete.
