ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A thief stole an 82-year-old man’s motorized scooter at a Kroger in Roseville and was then seen riding it through the parking lot, officials said.

Officials said the scooter was stolen around 3:15 p.m. April 9 at the Kroger on Gratiot Avenue near 13 Mile Road in Roseville.

A man was seen taking the victim’s Hoveround scooter inside the store, police said. He was last seen riding it eat through the parking lot, toward Gratiot Avenue, according to authorities.

The man was about 25-35 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighed 190-210 pounds and had dark hair, officials said. He was wearing a blue and white striped shirt, jeans and red shoes

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
