ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A man whose van was stolen in a violent carjacking in Macomb County is speaking out about the incident. Derek Hill, 52, said he pulled over to help when he saw a woman stranded in a Roseville Del Taco parking lot on Tuesday. It was around 1:30 a.m. when Hill saw a car broken down on Gratiot Avenue at Masonic in Roseville. He said he motioned the person motioned for Hill to roll down his window and that’s when he was punched. Michael Masters of Masters Auto Sales in Roseville heard about the attack and gave Hill one of his vans.
Navy veteran attacked in Roseville after asking someone to pick up litter
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A 72-year-old U.S. Navy veteran said he was badly beaten in a Roseville parking lot because he asked someone to pick up his litter. Dennis Probert went to the Ace Hardware store in the Eastgate Shopping Center off Gratiot Avenue to get a new pair of keys made Friday. He said he saw a car dumping bags of trash into the parking lot. Probert told the man he saw him littering and that’s when he said the man attacked him. Pregnant woman shot in leg during road rage incident in Macomb County, police say
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A pregnant woman was shot in the leg during a road rage incident in Macomb County, according to police. The shooting happened Tuesday at 10 p.m. Officers were dispatched to St. John Hospital on Moross for report of a woman that had been shot. The victim was the passenger of a blue 2006 Jeep Liberty that unintentionally cut off the suspected vehicle, police said. The shooting happened on Gratiot Avenue near Masonic Boulevard. The suspect is described as a Black woman who is between the ages of 18 and 25 years old.
19-year-old in custody after man found shot multiple times in the face in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – One person is in custody after a man was shot in the face in Roseville, police said. The shooting happened after 3 p.m. on Thursday on Superior Street just north of 696. Police said when they arrived on scene they found a 45-year-old man who had been shot multiple times in his face. Suspected robber fatally shot at Wash Pointe Car Wash in Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Police are investigating an attempted robbery that resulted in a fatal shooting that killed one of the accused robbers, Roseville police said. The shooting happened at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wash Pointe Car Wash. Police say a 30-year-old man was at the car wash and was approached by two male suspects who revealed a handgun and attempted to rob the car wash patron. The car wash patron was armed and police said he “exchanged gunfire with one of the alleged robbers.” During the shooting, one of the robbers -- now identified as a 16-year-old boy from Detroit -- was shot and later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Roseville police investigating after tip jar stolen from Leo’s Coney Island

Driver leaves tire tracks in Roseville home’s front yard
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A family in Roseville woke up Sunday morning to find tire tracks from someone driving donuts in their front yard. A family member said they’re furious that someone would do that to the yard. “Over 50 years, we deserve some respect. Don’t you dare come over here and do this anymore.”She told Local 4 the family has to wait until spring in order to fix the damage. They’re planing to install security cameras and a fence to avoid similar incidents.
