DETROIT – The Belle Isle Raceway is ready to go with the return of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear.
Presented by Comerica Bank, Friday was Free Prix Day, which allowed race fans to get an inside-look at the Detroit Grand Prix as drivers compete in practice and qualifying races.
Due to COVID, there was a limit on how many people were allowed on Belle Isle for the free day -- the 8,500 passes were claimed before the gates opened at 7:30 a.m.
While Friday’s free events were sold out, tickets are still available for Saturday and Sunday. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
While masks are not required on Belle Isle, they are required on the shuttles to the island. If you plan to come out, remember your mask and grab your ticket as soon as possible.
